Meet The Team

I started my career in real estate sales in 1998 in Marin County, at the largest brokerage in the county, Frank Howard Allen. I worked with an amazing mentor who was the first agent to stage a home here in Marin. We would take pictures with a camera, have the film developed at Longs Drugs and then glue-stick the pictures onto a flier that we created in a Word document! We’d make 20 of them for each listing. Times sure have changed!

I became managing broker at Corcoran Global Living in Greenbrae and worked in that capacity for 5 years, building the brokerage’s brand during its hyper growth phase and building an incredible team of agents.

After stepping down, I remain a Real Estate advisor to buyers and sellers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

My clients appreciate my candor about the market and the real estate marketing process as well as my deep knowledge of local laws and customs, my network of agents and service providers, and the love I have for this business. They rely on my judgment and experience on a daily basis, and they refer me to their friends and family because I’ve helped them make good decisions.

Sara Lacy was born in San Francisco and raised in Mill Valley. She attended grammar and middle schools in Mill Valley and completed high school in Larkspur.

She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design at San Francisco State University and immediately earned an internship in the commercial Interior Design field. Her initial positions were as project manager for a position with a commercial furniture company whose clients included Workday, DocuSign, Zendesk, Rocketspace, Slack, UOP and many more. Sara’s project management skills were honed in these companies, working directly with office space administrators of these companies, and further polished once she went to work for one of th client companies, Zendesk, where she managed the client side of office installations in the United States, Canada, South America, Australia, Europe, and Japan to name a few.

Sara became interested in Real Estate, as a profession, after purchasing her own home. She has first-hand experience in both the process of purchasing one’s first home, as well as how to coordinate all of the aspects of purchase and sale. She’s also became extremely resourceful in finding the right people to do renovation work on her own home, developing strong resources that she now uses for her clients.

Sara is an organization guru and her attention to detail and process is extremely beneficial when assisting clients in the purchase or selling of their homes.

Sara currently resides in San Rafael with her beloved fur friends, Selina, Harley and Ivy (kitties) and Memphis (dog). In her free time, you can find Sara at the yoga studio, gardening and working on her home, or exploring new trails with Memphis on their many hikes around Marin.

Vanessa is our behind-the-scenes dynamo! With years of high pressure administrative positions, she has refined an incredible work ethic, enhanced by excellent customer care qualities. She began her career in this field and quickly rose through the ranks, demonstrating a natural aptitude for customer service and a keen eye for detail. Vanessa’s exceptional communication skills and fluency in English have been instrumental in helping her build lasting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

She is responsible for all of our marketing assets, social media campaigns, appointment managing, YouTube channel, proprietary software procurement, assessment and management, event planning and more. She is a self-starter who is adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering work of the highest quality within tight deadlines. We have no idea what we’d do without her.
